Creating teletraining and real-time
collaboration sessions with VISITview
Tom Whittaker
CIMSS
The
VISITview tool used by the NWS for creating teletraining lessons
is also suited for use in collaborations over the web. Although
the teletraining mode uses "pre-loaded" files for the images
(pages), the collaboration approach uses common web browsers
to present material and provide for interactions among session
participants (drawing, animating, zooming, colorizing, etc).
This tutorial will show how to develop both teletraining and
collaboration sessions.
